Final Word
Alhamdullelah finally im going to Quit this thing
Frankly am sick of globalization, deteritorialization and delocalization, I hope very much to be more in line with a local coherent culture, I am no longer interested in finding a "globalized sister" to be my wife.
being simple is much more easy, frankly am sick of western culture too. be it a "Muslim Western" or not.
it takes a while for any new Muslim generation to fit in the general Ummah, and i guess it wont be a few generations till new converts' children do so.
I wonder myself how can one engage into civil society/ global civil society and not be partially worn out by it.. all I know now is am Salafi Arab and Egyptian. and becoming more appreciative of the Egyptian part which for long I have not been so comfortable with and part of it too is in my sa3eedi (South Egyptian)idenitiy.
I sometimes whish that I can just lead a "simple salafi life" niqabi wife, wear thowb all the time. have a lot of kids. have my own not so large private business.
but i know that would be selfish of me and of what im capable for this Ummah inshaAllah. will no longer waste my time doing too much thought, and put in more action. I have a major project coming up which i ll be working on so I hope leaving this blog as well as other activities will give me more time..
So this is it. perhaps you might see me. in the future online, yet only in a formal manner. not anonymous and much more serious and keep more of my personal life personal to my self and close ones!
finally I would like to tell myself and you, to Fear Allah, and remember it is your deeds that you carry with you to the next world, so dont carry but that which pleases Allah to see.
